WordPress Designer & Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented WordPress Designer & Developer who can both design and develop stunning, high-performance WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design aesthetics, strong front-end skills, and deep knowledge of WordPress architecture. You will be responsible for creating custom themes, designing engaging layouts, and ensuring seamless user experiences across all devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch using best practices.
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly, and visually appealing website layouts.
- Customize existing themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services into WordPress websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security.
- Design graphics, icons, banners, and other visual elements as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and functionality issues.
- Provide ongoing website maintenance, updates, and technical support.
- Collaborate with content writers, SEO specialists, and project managers.
- Stay updated with WordPress trends, design tools, and development standards.

Required Skills

- Expertise in WordPress theme development and customization.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Gutenberg).
- Robust design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
- Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with child themes,



custom post types, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Experience with Git version control and staging environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in WordPress design and development.
- Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce website design.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and build tools.
- Understanding of website performance optimization (caching, CDN, image optimization).
- Portfolio demonstrating custom WordPress designs and developments.
