Job Summary

Ravindra Heraeus Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Engineer – Civil to handle project activities at our Vizag Unit.

The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination and monitoring of civil and structural projects, with a strong focus on cost, quality, safety and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute civil and structural projects at the Vizag Unit.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower and material requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQ/BOM and project-related calculations.
- Prepare project schedules and track execution using MS Project.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and internal departments.
- Supervise steel structural fabrication and erection activities.
- Monitor project costs and support cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and site safety requirements.
- Identify project-related issues and take proactive corrective actions.
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain relevant project documentation.
- Ensure projects are completed within the planned time, cost and quality parameters.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.




- 4–5 years of relevant experience in project execution, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Strong practical experience in steel structural works.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Positive knowledge of MS Project.
- Strong skills in cost estimation, project planning and BOQ/BOM preparation.
- Good understanding of civil construction and structural works.
- Strong contractor and vendor coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of quality and safety practices.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proactive, result-oriented and execution-focused approach.
- Strong ownership and ability to drive projects to completion.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Civil Engineer who can independently manage project activities, anticipate problems, coordinate effectively with stakeholders and ensure timely project completion.
