Job Summary

BuiltTogether is looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials within the approved budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of construction materials, equipment, tools, and site requirements.
- Source and identify reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize suppliers.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials at project sites.
- Ensure materials received meet approved specifications and quality requirements.




- Coordinate with stores/site teams for material receipt and documentation.
- Monitor purchase costs and support cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, POs, invoices, and other purchase documentation.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, delivery, pricing, and payment coordination.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and vendor sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Robust follow-up, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement requirements.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in infrastructure/construction procurement will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Candidates should be comfortable coordinating with project sites, vendors, and suppliers.
