Experience : Minimum 5 years of post-qualification professional experience, excluding academic internship/training
Qualification : B.Arch from a recognized/reputed institution; valid Council of Architecture registration for appointment under the title Architect
Project Exposure : Demonstrated experience in commercial, institutional and residential projects along with campus design.
Reporting To : Chief Architect
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Architect (5+ years PQE) to independently lead projects from schematic design through to fully coordinated construction documentation for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, space planning, and schematic designs aligned with client briefs, site constraints, and budgets.
- Prepare and lead complete architectural working drawing (GFC) sets, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and construction details.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, firefighting, HVAC, landscape, and interior consultants.
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with local building bye-laws, accessibility norms, and fire/life-safety standards.
- Conduct dimensional and technical checks on all drawings prior to site issue.
- Manage project deliverables, revision registers, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Support terrain-responsive planning, level coordination, and grading for sloping site projects.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: B.Arch from a recognized institution.
- Registration: Active Council of Architecture (COA) registration.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in professional practice.
- Project Exposure: Proven track record in both residential and institutional projects.
- Core Skills: Solid command over technical detailing, drawing conventions, constructability, and consultant coordination.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and presentation tools.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Hands-on experience with Revit / BIM workflows.
- Experience in site development on sloping/hilly terrain.
- Proficiency in SketchUp / Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / InDesign).
