Role Purpose

The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations,

production planning, manpower management, quality compliance, and timely execution of

manufacturing activities. The role will act as the second-in-command to the Factory Manager

and ensure smooth factory operations while supporting business growth, capacity expansion,

and process excellence initiatives.

Production Operations

 Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per the production plan.

 Monitor manufacturing activities related to Link Boxes, Clamps, Cleats and other cable

accessory products.

 Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Dispatch teams for seamless execution.

 Minimize production downtime and ensure optimal utilization of machines and manpower.





 Maintain production records and reports.

Production Planning & Control

 Monitor and assist in preparing weekly and monthly production schedules.

 Track work orders and ensure timely completion.

 Monitor material availability and coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments.

 Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.

Manpower Management

 Supervise shop-floor personnel and allocate resources effectively.

 Monitor attendance, discipline and productivity of factory employees.

 Conduct daily production meetings and communicate operational priorities.

 Support training and skill development of workmen and operators.

Quality Management

 Ensure adherence to approved quality standards and inspection procedures.

 Work closely with the Quality team to reduce rejection and rework.

 Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

Safety & Compliance

 Ensure compliance with safety regulations, factory rules and statutory requirements.

 Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.

 Promote secure work practices and maintain housekeeping standards.
