About the Role

We are a growing marketing agency looking for a Social Media Associate who is creative, hands-on, and understands what makes content work on social media.

This role is ideal for someone who can go beyond just posting content — someone who can ideate, create, edit, publish, and track content across social platforms. Strong short-form video editing skills are essential.

What You'll Do

- Manage day-to-day social media activities for the agency and its clients.
- Plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Ideate engaging content formats including Reels, short-form videos, carousels, static posts, stories, and trend-based content.
- Shoot and edit short-form videos/Reels as required.
- Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, VN, or similar platforms.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and social media copy.
- Identify relevant social media trends, sounds, formats, and content opportunities.
- Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and marketing team members to execute campaigns.
- Monitor social media performance and provide insights on what is working.
- Support influencer collaborations, campaign execution, and client social media requirements.
- Stay updated with changing social media algorithms, trends, and content formats.

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn, especially short-form content.




- Hands-on video editing skills — this is a key requirement.
- Good sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, hooks, and social media trends.
- Solid communication and copywriting skills.
- Ability to independently take an idea from concept → content → editing → publishing.
- Creative mindset with an ability to experiment and think beyond conventional content.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing agency environment.
- Portfolio or examples of previous social media/video work will be strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

- Experience working with a marketing/digital agency and managing multiple brands.
- Basic knowledge of Canva and graphic design.
- Experience with Instagram Reels and LinkedIn content.
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Basic knowledge of content strategy and paid social campaigns.
