About the Role
We are looking for a creative and research-oriented Screenplay Writer who can develop compelling stories and translate concepts into engaging screenplays for TV, OTT, short films, and digital content.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, screenplay structure, scene construction, and dialogue writing, along with the ability to research and develop fresh concepts.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop original story concepts, narratives, and screenplays for TV, OTT, short films, and digital formats.

* Convert ideas and concepts into well-structured screenplays and scene breakdowns.

* Write engaging, natural, and character-driven dialogues.

* Develop characters, story arcs, conflicts, and narrative progression.

* Understand and execute different storytelling formats, genres, and tones.

* Conduct thorough *research* to build authentic and relevant stories.

* Collaborate with creative producers, directors, and other writers to develop and refine scripts.

* Work on script rewrites and incorporate creative feedback effectively.

* Ensure continuity, pacing, scene flow, and overall narrative coherence.

* Create strong scenes that are visually engaging and suitable for screen adaptation.

* Stay updated with trends, formats, and storytelling styles across TV, OTT, films, and digital content.

* Someone who can think creatively and develop ideas from concept to screenplay.

* Strong understanding of what makes a scene engaging and watchable.

* A writer who is comfortable with research and can bring authenticity to stories.

* Candidates with experience in short films, web series, TV, OTT, branded content, or digital storytelling will be preferred.

Qualification

A degree in Mass Communication, Film, Literature, Writing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. A strong writing portfolio is more important.

Portfolio/previous writing samples are required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
