**Data Analyst / Data Scientist – AI & Analytics (Microsoft Fabric)**

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist to build AI-powered analytics solutions, monitor production systems, and deliver actionable business insights using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using Copilot in Power BI for natural language report generation, DAX, and semantic model optimization.

- Work hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, KQL Databases (Eventhouse), and OneLake for unified data engineering and analytics.

- Build and configure Fabric Data Agents over Lakehouse, Warehouse, KQL, and semantic models, including instruction tuning, example Q&A; design, and table/schema scoping for accurate query results.

- Set up and manage Fabric Operations Agents to monitor real-time telemetry, define anomaly conditions, and route alerts to Teams for triage.

- Apply statistical and ML-based techniques such as change-point detection, drift detection, isolation forests, and clustering to identify new or unseen production scenarios.

- Develop and deploy predictive and statistical models using Python/PySpark in Fabric notebooks for forecasting, root-cause analysis, and incident investigation.





- Work with SQL, KQL, DAX, Python, and Azure OpenAI Assistant API-based tooling.

- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams during production incidents, using Data Agents to query telemetry and identify patterns during live investigations.

- Stay updated with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, AI, and analytics technologies.

**Valuable to Have:**

- Experience with Copilot Studio integration.

- Knowledge of ML/statistical anomaly detection methods.

- Experience in production monitoring and incident investigation.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
