We are looking for a Data Scientist/Modeller with strong experience in credit risk and growth modelling for consumer lending. The role involves building acquisition scorecards, propensity and intent models, and driving data-led decisioning across underwriting and growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop Acquisition Scorecards (NTC/thin-file/full-file)

- Build Affluence/Income estimation models

- Develop Propensity & Intent models for cross-sell and customer targeting

- Design behavioral scorecards for portfolio management

- Perform feature engineering using bureau, banking, and behavioral data

- Work on model deployment, monitoring, and recalibration

- Partner with Risk, Product, and Growth teams to optimize approval rate vs credit cost

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Python & PySpark

- Hands-on experience with ML models (XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.)





- Experience in credit risk modelling / scorecards

- Strong SQL and data analysis skills

- Exposure to LLM/NLP use cases (good to have)

- Understanding of consumer lending / bureau data

Preferred Profile :

- Experience in Fintech/NBFC/Banking (Retail Lending)

- Hands-on exposure to end-to-end model lifecycle

- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

- 3-5 years of experience
