Job Summary
We are looking for a Store Assistant to support daily store operations, material handling, stock management, and proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials.
- Issue materials to project/site teams as per approved requirements.
- Maintain stock registers and ensure accurate inventory.
- Check quantity and condition of materials received.
- Properly arrange and store materials in designated locations.
- Prepare material issue, receipt, and transfer documents.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Project, and Accounts teams regarding material requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Report shortages, damages,
or discrepancies to the Store In-charge.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety in the store.
- Update material records in ERP/software and Excel.
- Support stock audits and prepare required reports.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
- Basic MS Excel and computer knowledge.
- Valuable record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle materials carefully.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of ERP/store management software will be an advantage.
Key Performance Areas (KPI)
- Accurate stock records.
- Timely material issuance and receipt.
- Proper material storage and handling.
- Minimum stock discrepancies.
- Timely updating of ERP and documentation.
- Proper coordination with project and purchase teams.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
