Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Printer Engineer to handle the installation, diagnosis, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repair of various printing equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on technical expertise across multiple printer technologies and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex hardware and print-quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of printers and multifunction devices.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hardware, connectivity, and print-quality issues.
- Handle Dot Matrix, Write Printer, A3, A4, A5, Multifunction Printers (MFP), and Inkjet Printers.
- Inspect printer components and identify faulty parts requiring repair or replacement.
- Perform component-level maintenance and replacement of printer parts, consumables, and accessories.
- Resolve paper-jam, printing, scanning, connectivity, alignment, and image-quality issues.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate service reports, repair records,



and technical documentation.
- Provide professional technical support to clients and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
- Maintain adequate knowledge of printer models, components, consumables, and service procedures.

Required Technical Skills

- 5–7 years of relevant experience as a Printer Engineer/Service Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dot Matrix, Write Printer, A3, A4, A5, MFP, and Inkjet printers.
- Robust understanding of printer hardware, mechanical assemblies, electronic components, and consumables.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions.
- Good knowledge of printer installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong customer-handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
