- 1. SMPS & UPS Maintenance
- AC-DC Conversion: Monitor and service SMPS rectifiers converting grid or DG AC input into secure -48V DC power for base transceiver stations (BTS) and telecom gear.

2. Battery Bank Management

- Routine Checks: Measure individual cell/string voltages, specific gravity (for flooded lead-acid), and temperature sensors.
- Capacity & Discharge Testing: Conduct periodic battery discharge tests to identify weak or dead cells.
- Charging Control: Verify float and boost charging configurations via the SMPS controller to prevent overcharging or deep discharge.
- Terminal Maintenance: Clean corroded terminals, apply petroleum jelly/anti-oxidant paste, and check torque specs on battery links.

3. Fault Finding & Alarm Monitoring

- NOC Coordination: Respond to power alarms (mains fail, low DC voltage, rectifier failure, battery on-discharge) escalated by the Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Diagnostic Tools: Use multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers to trace shorts, ground faults, or voltage drops.

4. Safety & Documentation

- Logbooks: Maintain daily checklists, energy readings, breakdown logs,



and site visit reports.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to electrical isolation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and PPE guidelines.
- Module Replacement: Handle hot-swappable SMPS rectifier modules and repair or replace faulty sub-units without dropping site power.
- UPS Servicing: Maintain online UPS setups, static transfer switches, and distribution units supporting critical indoor telecom loads.
- Parameter Tuning: Calibrate output voltage, current limits, and load-sharing parameters across parallel power modules.
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in telecom passive infrastructure or critical power maintenance.
- Key Competencies: Deep understanding of DC power plants, battery chemistry (VRLA/Lithium-ion), single-line electrical diagrams, and fault diagnostic procedures

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
