Key Responsibilities

- ⁠ ⁠Lead end-to-end development of outdoor LED luminaires including street lights, flood lights, bollards, façade lighting, landscape lighting, and architectural outdoor fixtures.
- ⁠ ⁠Design current products with a strong focus on performance, reliability, aesthetics, and cost optimization.
- ⁠ ⁠Develop product specifications, technical drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- ⁠ ⁠Select and validate LEDs, drivers, optics, heat sinks, surge protection, and mechanical components.
- ⁠ ⁠Ensure products comply with BIS, LM79, LM80, IP, IK, IEC, and other relevant industry standards.
- ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with R&D;, design, tooling, procurement, quality, and production teams.
- ⁠ ⁠Work with suppliers to identify new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
- ⁠ ⁠Drive prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvements.
- ⁠ ⁠Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer requirements to build a strong product roadmap.




- ⁠ ⁠Mentor the product development and engineering team.

What We're Looking For

- ⁠ ⁠8–15 years of experience in outdoor LED lighting product development.
- ⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of LED technology, optics, thermal management, electronics, and luminaire design.
- ⁠ ⁠Experience in developing products for outdoor and architectural lighting applications.
- ⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Creo, or similar design software.
- ⁠ ⁠Good understanding of sheet metal, die-casting, extrusion, powder coating, and outdoor product manufacturing.
- ⁠ ⁠Knowledge of lighting standards, testing, and product certification.
- ⁠ ⁠Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- ⁠ ⁠Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Product Design Engineering.
- ⁠ ⁠Experience working with lighting manufacturers or OEM/ODM product development teams.
- ⁠ ⁠Exposure to smart lighting, DALI, sensors, or IoT-enabled outdoor lighting is an added advantage.
