E-COMMERCE DEVELOPER – SHOPIFY / MAGENTO 2 / WORDPRESSExperience: 2–4 YearsJOB OVERVIEW:We are looking for a versatile E-commerce Developer with 2–4 years of experience across Shopify, Magento 2, and WordPress, with stronger expertise in Shopify. The candidate should independently handle development, customization, integrations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify, Magento 2, and WordPress websites.• Handle Shopify development including themes, Liquid, sections, templates, APIs, and integrations.• Develop custom Shopify features based on business and UI/UX requirements.• Integrate Shopify with payment gateways, ERP, CRM, shipping, and third-party systems.• Customize Magento 2 themes, modules, layouts, APIs, and functionality.• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce functionality.• Troubleshoot technical, functional, and performance issues.• Optimize eCommerce websites for performance, responsiveness, SEO, and user experience.• Work with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS,



and REST APIs.• Understand existing codebases and independently implement enhancements.• Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, backend developers, and project managers.• Follow Git, coding, testing, and deployment best practices.REQUIRED SKILLS:Shopify – Strong Expertise: Hands-on Shopify development; Liquid, themes, sections, templates, APIs, webhooks, apps, third-party integrations, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, performance, and SEO.Magento 2 – Working Experience: Practical development/customization; themes, layouts, modules, blocks, controllers, APIs, architecture, and eCommerce workflows.WordPress – Working Experience: Theme/plugin customization; PHP and WooCommerce knowledge.COMMON TECHNICAL SKILLS:PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, Git, debugging/problem-solving, and basic Linux/server knowledge.POSITIVE TO HAVE:Shopify Plus, custom Shopify app development, checkout extensibility, payment gateway/ERP integrations, WooCommerce, React.js/Node.js, and eCommerce migrations/integrations.IDEAL CANDIDATE:Shopify should be the strongest skill, with good practical knowledge of Magento 2 and WordPress.
