JOB DESCRIPTION – ARCHITECT

Position: Architect

Role Summary

We are looking for a creative, technically competent, and responsible Architect to join our multidisciplinary design team. The candidate will be involved in architectural planning, design development, preparation of working drawings, coordination with structural and MEP consultants, preparation of presentation drawings, site coordination, and execution support for residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, and government projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop architectural designs based on client requirements, site conditions, applicable building bye-laws, NBC provisions, and project specifications.
- Prepare submission drawings, sanction drawings, tender drawings, GFC drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with:
- Structural drawings
- Electrical services
- Plumbing/PHE services
- HVAC
- Fire-fighting systems
- Landscape
- Interior design
- Prepare and review door-window schedules, flooring layouts, toilet details, staircase details, façade details, and other architectural details.
- Ensure proper coordination and checking of drawings before issue to client/site.
- Assist in preparation of DPRs, BOQs, estimates, specifications, presentations, and tender documents where required.
- Develop 3D models and presentation material for client discussions.
- Attend client meetings and incorporate approved design modifications.
- Conduct site visits, site measurements, inspections, and coordination meetings.




- Check execution at site with respect to approved architectural/GFC drawings.
- Resolve architectural and interdisciplinary coordination issues during construction.
- Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Ensure projects are designed in accordance with applicable building bye-laws, NBC, fire norms, accessibility standards, and statutory requirements.
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects while meeting project timelines.

Required Qualification

B.Arch – Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.

Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred/required depending upon the position.

Experience

Preferred: 1–5 years of relevant architectural experience.

Fresh graduates with strong architectural design, drafting, and software skills may also be considered for junior positions.

Software Skills

Candidate should have good working knowledge of:

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Photoshop / presentation software

Knowledge of the following will be an added advantage:

- Revit / BIM
- Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray
- Coohom or similar visualization software
- MS Excel for area statements, schedules, and project documentation

Technical Skills





Candidate should have a good understanding of:

- Architectural planning and space planning
- Building bye-laws
- FAR / FSI calculations
- Ground coverage and setbacks
- Parking requirements
- Building services coordination
- Working drawings and construction detailing
- Building materials and construction techniques
- Area calculations and schedules
- Site execution and quality checking

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

- Have strong architectural design and visualization skills.
- Be technically sound and detail-oriented.
- Be able to independently prepare architectural drawings.
- Have good communication and presentation skills.
- Be willing to undertake site visits whenever required.
- Be able to coordinate with engineers, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Be comfortable working on both private and government/institutional projects.
- Be able to work under project deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
- Have a responsible and skilled attitude toward drawings and project documentation.

The Architect will be expected to ensure:

- Accuracy of drawings
- Timely completion of assigned work
- Proper interdisciplinary coordination
- Compliance with applicable codes and bye-laws
- Quality of architectural design and detailing
- Prompt incorporation of client/site comments
- Proper documentation and revision control

Salary: As per experience, qualification, technical capability, and interview performance.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 per year
