Job description of Civil /Structural Engineer-Building services

We are seeking an experienced Civil Structural engineer who can act as a senior figure within the design team. You will be under the Structural design team; designing the Steel, RCC & Precast structures related to Building Service & Plant engineering in accordance with applicable standards and contract requirements, using relevant Design software like Staad. Pro/SACS/Etabs/SAP 2000 using AISC/EN/BS codes and detailing using AutoCAD/ Tekla structure / Revit Structure

Responsibilities:

- Design and detailing of Pipe supports, HVAC Supports, Fan & duct supporting structures
- RCC & Steel Shop fabrication drawing detailed verification
- Pipe Racks, Platforms, Skid, Monorails and Crane Supports Structures, Fixed & Floating Platforms, Canopies, Substations design & detailing
- Design & detailing for RCC Piles, Equipment/Machine Foundation, Retaining Wall, Storage Tank, warehouses etc.,
- Design & detailing of Precast structural elements like bridges, Staicase, Manhole, Jacking pipes etc.,
- Knowledges on Pre-Engineering Building Structures & Cold formed structures design & detailing
- Knowledges on Scaffolding & Formworks design & detailed review
- Knowledges on Architecture, Façade design and detailed review




- Knowledges on Pre-bid materail take off list
- Able to create civil design basis during FEED stage as well as during detail engineering stage
- Ability to manage Civil, Structural and architectural functions & other Inter disciplinary interaction
- To lead a team of designers and junior engineers
- Extensive knowledge in Gulf countries codal regulation
- Experience with Connection software like Idea-Static/Ram

Requirements:

- Degree in Civil Engineering B.tech/M.tech with 5+ years’ experience in Building services/Oil & gas industries as a Senior Design engineer.
- Extensive knowledge in engineering codes like AISC / EN / BS/ UBC standards
- Partake in processes and talks with clients in regards to the component installations/ filed issues
- Experience in BIM (Building information modeling) methodology /Modular building design/PEMBs/ Green building design concepts would be a plus
