NetSense Cybersecurity is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented GeM & Government Tender Executive to manage our activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other relevant government procurement portals.
The person will be responsible for ensuring that no relevant tender, bid, BOQ, reverse auction, or procurement opportunity is missed, while ensuring that all submissions on the GeM portal are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the GeM portal daily for relevant tenders, bids, BOQs, custom bids, reverse auctions, and procurement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities relevant to NetSense products including cybersecurity, firewalls, UTM, secure routers, SD-WAN, networking, switches, access points, SASE and related IT/security solutions.
- Maintain a structured tender tracker containing opportunity details, deadlines, eligibility requirements, status and next actions.
- Ensure that no relevant tender or bid deadline is missed.
- Carefully study tender documents, technical specifications, eligibility criteria, commercial conditions and required documentation.
- Coordinate internally with sales, technical, finance and management teams to obtain quotations, technical compliance documents, certifications and other information required for submission.
- Prepare and upload bid documents, technical compliance sheets, price bids and supporting documentation.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of information entered on the GeM portal and verify submissions before finalizing them.
- Manage NetSense's GeM seller profile, product/service listings, catalogue information, pricing and documentation.
- Track bid status, clarifications, corrigenda, technical evaluations, reverse auctions, purchase orders and contracts.
- Respond to buyer queries and GeM notifications within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain records of submitted bids, won/lost opportunities, purchase orders and pending actions.
- Monitor government procurement trends and identify departments, PSUs and organizations regularly procuring relevant cybersecurity and networking products.
- Provide management with a daily/weekly summary of new opportunities, upcoming deadlines and tender status.
Key Expectations
The successful candidate must be extremely careful and process-driven. This is a role where attention to detail and meeting deadlines are critical.
The person should develop a system where:
- Every relevant GeM opportunity is reviewed.
- Every tender has a clearly assigned deadline and status.
- Required documents are collected well before submission.
- Every bid is cross-checked before final submission.
- No tender is missed because of oversight or delayed action.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with the Government e-Marketplace (GeM).
- Experience in government tenders, e-procurement or institutional sales support.
- Understanding of bid submission, BOQs, technical compliance, EMD, eligibility documentation and reverse auctions.
- Robust Excel/Google Sheets and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Good written communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with IT, networking or cybersecurity products will be an advantage.
Success Metrics
Performance will primarily be measured on:
- Zero relevant tenders missed
- Zero avoidable errors in bid submissions
- On-time submission of all approved bids
- Number and quality of relevant opportunities identified
- Accuracy and completeness of GeM listings and documentation
- Timely tracking and follow-up of bids, orders and buyer communications
The person will work closely with the sales and management team and will be expected to take end-to-end operational ownership of NetSense's GeM and government tender activities.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
