Job Summary

Ravindra Heraeus Private Limited is looking for a Laboratory Executive / Engineer – Particle Size Analysis (PSA) to work in our Precious Metal Laboratory.

The role will be responsible for particle size testing and characterization of precious metal powders, granules, residues, catalysts and other process materials, supporting quality control, process optimization and precious metal recovery.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Particle Size Analysis (PSA) of precious-metal-bearing materials.
- Operate Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer and related laboratory equipment.
- Perform sample preparation, testing and data analysis.
- Determine and interpret D10, D50, D90 and Particle Size Distribution (PSD).
- Carry out sieve analysis and microscopic particle characterization, where required.
- Prepare accurate laboratory test reports and maintain testing records.
- Ensure calibration, verification and proper maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Support analysis of particle-size characteristics in relation to precious metal recovery and refining processes.
- Investigate abnormal test results and support root-cause analysis.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, EHS and quality requirements.
- Support method development, validation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification





- B.Sc./M.Sc. – Chemistry, Physics, Material ScienceOR
- B.E./B.Tech. – Chemical, Metallurgy, Materials or relevant Engineering discipline

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Particle Size Analysis, material characterization, chemical/metallurgical laboratory, powder characterization or Quality Control.
- Hands-on experience with Laser Diffraction PSA will be preferred.
- Experience in a precious metal laboratory will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 / GLP is desirable.
- Freshers with relevant laboratory exposure and strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
