Sri Lakshmi Transport Service is looking for an experienced and responsible Bus Manager to manage daily bus fleet operations in Salem.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily bus operations, routes, schedules and trips.
- Coordinate with drivers and transport staff.
- Monitor driver attendance, duty allocation and shifts.
- Ensure buses operate safely and on time.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage and trip expenses.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and breakdown support.
- Monitor FC, Insurance, Permit and Tax validity.
- Maintain daily trip, fuel, attendance and vehicle records.
- Handle operational issues and customer/passenger complaints.
- Arrange replacement vehicles during breakdowns.
- Prepare daily and weekly fleet reports.
- Ensure discipline and proper coordination among drivers and staff.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Bus Operations / Fleet Management / Transport.
- Good knowledge of bus and fleet operations.
- Experience in driver and team coordination.
- Experience in driving a bus and conductor role.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Positive Excel and computer knowledge.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
