JOB DESCRIPTION:





As part of a dynamic customer focused team, you will be managing sales, commercial, engineering and manufacturing functions on hot runner projects from quoting stage through order shipment to ensure excellence in quality, on-time delivery, and profitability. In this position you provide direct support to assigned customer base and hot runner sales personnel and identify opportunities to grow sales within EMEA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

- Be a single point of contact for assigned customers
- Screen and coordinate pre-sale application and product inquiries
- Prepare quotes for hot runner, controller
- Work directly with customers to secure necessary project information
- Interpret customer drawings / 3D models, project information, and specifications.
- Anticipate and resolve project problem areas and ambiguities
- Communicate concerns and potential solutions
- Prepare and submit project documentation on time to enable design start at committed date
- Participate at all required kick off, send off, and design review meetings for your projects
- Know the status of your projects. Hold each department accountable to their commitments
- Coordinate customer changes and take responsibility for correctly executed
- Manage communication flow between customer, sales organization, and the factory
- Manage key customer relationships within regions to provide high level of service
- Develop and present technical presentations for design reviews and technology updates. Understand profit and loss of your projects

- Drives committed deadlines for projects – specially design information on-time to engineering.
- Customer and regional feedback to be obtained about status updates, professionalism and know-how.
- Recognized excellent teamwork capability within organization.
- Quality of design folder submitted to design.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Robust project management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with team members and customers
- Experience in plastics, plastic injection molding technology or mold assembly/design
- Understand Hot Runner, PIM technology including design and manufacturing.
- Skilled at preparing and delivering occasional presentations.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
- Well organized including the ability to schedule multiple resources and activities.
- Fluent in English and Hindi is mandatory, additional regional language considered as an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Technology is preferred.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Unigraphics or other design platforms)

RELATED EXPERIENCE:

- 4-8 years of Experience in Injection mold design/Hot Runner Design
