Gyansthan Education Services is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Speech & Drama Trainer for a project-based engagement in Lower Parel, Mumbai.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Speech & Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts or Theatre-in-Education and enjoy working with school students. The trainer will be responsible for conducting engaging, interactive and activity-based sessions that encourage students to develop confidence, communication, creativity and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and age-appropriate Speech & Drama sessions every Saturday.
- Introduce students to theatre techniques such as improvisation, storytelling, role play and character development.
- Plan interactive activities that encourage confidence, creativity and self-expression.
- Adapt sessions according to students' age groups, participation and classroom dynamics.
- Coordinate with the Gyansthan team regarding session plans, schedules and project requirements.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Speech & Drama and Theatre practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct interactive and activity-based sessions.
- Solid classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Creativity, patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
Eligibility
- Prior experience teaching Speech & Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts or Public Speaking is preferred.
- Candidates with a background in Theatre, Performing Arts or Drama Education will be preferred.
- Prior experience working with school students will be an added advantage.
- Must be comfortable committing to all 15 Saturday sessions.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,500.00 per day
