Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, customization, and optimization, alongside a solid understanding of front-end and back-end development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to project requirements.
- Create and modify themes and plugins for enhanced functionality.
- Implement responsive design for optimal user experience across devices.
- Integrate APIs and third-party tools into WordPress sites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, bugs, or errors.
- Ensure website security through regular updates and risk mitigation strategies.




- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality websites.
- Maintain clear documentation of code and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
- Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of website security practices.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins.
- Knowledge of headless WordPress development and JAMstack approaches.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and deployment workflows.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or relevant field (or equivalent practical experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
