Core Responsibilities

- Provide Level 2 technical support for VSAT, Fleet Xpress, and satellite communication systems serving maritime and enterprise customers.
- Troubleshoot complex satellite connectivity, RF, IP networking, and hardware issues escalated from Level 1 support.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain satellite terminals, routers, firewalls, modems, and networking equipment.
- Perform remote diagnostics using SSH, Linux, Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, and other network troubleshooting tools.
- Coordinate with OEMs, customers, and cross-functional teams to resolve incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Support satellite equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and network optimization activities.
- Maintain accurate incident records, technical documentation, root cause analysis (RCA), and ticket updates.
- Monitor network performance, ensure high service availability, and minimize downtime across satellite communication platforms.
- Work in a 24×7 rotational NOC setting and provide occasional on-site/vessel support when required.
