Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Microbiology Production Manager to oversee microbiology-related production activities, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with applicable quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant experience in microbiology production, laboratory operations, or a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day microbiology production and laboratory activities.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely completion of microbiological processes.
- Supervise microbiology production staff, technicians, and laboratory personnel.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and biosafety procedures.
- Monitor environmental monitoring, microbial testing, and contamination-control activities.
- Review laboratory results, batch records, production reports, and quality documentation.
- Investigate deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and contamination issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and CAPA for quality or production-related problems.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, R&D;, and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of microbiological materials and waste.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and preventive maintenance schedules.




- Prepare production and microbiology performance reports for management.
- Train team members on microbiological techniques, SOPs, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality, and contamination control.

Requirements

- Education: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Microbiology Production, Microbiology Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food/Dairy, or similar regulated manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing, aseptic practices, contamination control, and laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, SOPs, CAPA, deviation handling, and OOS investigation.
- Good documentation and regulatory-compliance knowledge.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and team-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory documentation systems.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
