Job Title: Optical Fiber Network Engineer
Location: Andaman
Employment Type: Full time
CTC Range: ₹20,000 to ₹45,000 per month (depending on experience and technical expertise)
Certification Required: CCNA Certification

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and motivated Optical Fiber Network Engineers to join our team for locations in Andaman. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of optical fiber networks and associated networking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) networks.
- Perform fiber splicing, jointing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct OTDR, Power Meter, and other optical fiber testing activities.
- Monitor and maintain network uptime and resolve fiber/network faults within defined timelines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Perform network monitoring and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, test reports, and daily work reports.
- Coordinate with field teams, project teams, vendors, and customers for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Support network expansion, upgrades, and migration activities as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills





- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Valid CCNA Certification is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of networking concepts including:
- TCP/IP
- Routing and Switching
- VLAN
- IP Addressing and Subnetting
- LAN/WAN
- OSPF and other basic routing protocols
- Knowledge of Optical Fiber Network architecture and FTTH/Enterprise networks.
- Hands-on experience with OTDR, Optical Power Meter, Splicing Machine, and related tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project locations, especially for the Andaman assignment.

Experience

Preferred Experience: 0 to 5 years in Optical Fiber Network, ISP, Telecom, or Networking Projects.

Freshers with a valid CCNA Certification and relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Compensation

Monthly CTC: ₹20,000 to ₹45,000

The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, technical skills, certification, and location of deployment.

Preferred Candidate

- CCNA Certified.
- Experience in Optical Fiber Networks and active networking.
- Experience with ISP, Telecom, FTTH, Enterprise Network, or NOC operations will be preferred.
- Candidates willing to work at Andaman locations.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
