Job Summary
Position Summary
HCLTech is seeking a SAP BW Junior Developer with 0–2 years of experience to support SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Analytics, and reporting initiatives for Greenfield and Brownfield transformation programs in the steel manufacturing industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in development and maintenance of SAP BW/4HANA data models, ETL processes, queries, and reports. Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from SAP and non-SAP systems. Participate in requirement gathering, testing, user support, documentation, cutover, and hypercare activities. Collaborate with functional, ABAP, Basis, and analytics teams.
Steel Industry Responsibilities
Support reporting and analytics requirements for procurement, production planning, inventory management, quality management, plant maintenance, logistics, sales, and finance functions across steel manufacturing operations.
Technical Skills
SAP BW/4HANA fundamentals, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP HANA basics, Data Modeling, ETL concepts, Queries, SAP Analytics Cloud exposure, SQL fundamentals, Reporting and Dashboard concepts.
Greenfield & Brownfield Exposure
Exposure to SAP implementation methodologies, business process mapping, testing support, data validation, migration verification, and post-go-live support activities.
Required Experience
0–2 years of SAP BW/BI experience through projects, internships, training, or implementation support activities.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments will be an advantage.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related discipline. SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Analytics certifications are desirable.
