We are looking for Global PAYplus (GPP) Consultant with strong experience in Finastra Global PAYplus implementation and support. The candidate should have expertise in payments processing, SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022, message flows, system configuration, and production support within the banking/payments domain. Experience in integration, troubleshooting, and end-to-end payment lifecycle management is essential, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, configure, and support Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP) solutions for domestic and cross-border payment processing.
Configure and customize payment workflows, message routing, business rules, validation rules, and payment processing components within GPP.
Support end-to-end payment processing across various payment types, including SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, SEPA, RTGS, ACH, and High-Value Payments.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical configurations within the GPP platform.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution for payment processing incidents.
Support application deployments, upgrades, patch implementations, and environment management activities.
Collaborate with infrastructure, middleware, database, and integration teams to ensure seamless application availability.
Develop and execute functional, integration,



and regression test cases during implementation and release cycles.
Monitor payment processing, system performance, and application health while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments.
Participate in release planning, production deployments, disaster recovery exercises, and post-release validation.
Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, configuration guides, and knowledge transfer documents.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and payment industry best practices.

Required Skills
6-8years of experience in Banking and Payments, with strong hands-on expertise in Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP).
Experience in GPP implementation, production support, system configuration, and payment processing.
Strong understanding of domestic and international payment processing and payment lifecycle management.
Expertise in SWIFT MT, SWIFT MX, and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
Knowledge of payment systems such as SEPA, ACH, RTGS, Wire Payments, and cross-border payment processing.
Experience in configuring payment workflows, message routing, queues, and business rules within GPP.
Strong understanding of payment message formats, validations, reconciliation, and exception handling.
Experience integrating GPP with upstream and downstream banking applications through APIs, MQ, file-based integrations, or middleware.
Hands-on experience in application support, production incident management, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic scripting is an added advantage.




Experience with ITIL processes, incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, or enterprise integration technologies.
Knowledge of IBM MQ, Kafka, or other messaging platforms.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
Understanding of payment regulations, AML, sanctions screening, and compliance frameworks.
Finastra Global PAYplus implementation or product certification is an added advantage.
