Job Description:

We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Asst. Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Plant. As the Asst. Store Manager, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, and developing business strategies. Should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day activities of the stores and material handling operations.

· Receive incoming raw materials, bought-out items, consumables, packing materials, and finished goods.

· Verify materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, specifications, and quantity.

· Ensure proper identification, labeling, binning, and systematic storage of materials.

· Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of critical materials for production.

· Issue raw materials and components to production as per approved material requisitions/BOM.

· Control minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels to avoid shortages and excess inventory.

· Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock verification and investigate inventory variances.





· Monitor non-moving, slow-moving, obsolete, rejected, and excess inventory and coordinate appropriate action.

· Coordinate material movement between stores, production, quality inspection, and dispatch areas.

· Support internal, customer, and statutory audits by maintaining proper records and traceability.

· Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, stock status, shortages, ageing, consumption, and material movement.

· Ensure proper control of tools, consumables, packing materials, and other company assets kept under stores.

Handle material discrepancies, shortages, damages, and quality-related holds in coordination with concerned departments.

- B. Com.
- 10 years or more of related experience in Stores.
- Manufacturing Industry experience will be preferred
