Bhagirath Kia is looking for an experienced and quality-focused Final Inspector to ensure that all vehicles serviced or repaired in the workshop are thoroughly inspected and are ready for customer delivery.

The Final Inspector will be responsible for checking the quality of repair and service work, verifying job-card requirements, conducting road tests where required, identifying pending issues, and ensuring that vehicles meet Kia quality standards and customer expectations before delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform final inspection of vehicles after completion of service, repair, or maintenance work.
- Verify that all jobs mentioned in the Repair Order / Job Card have been completed correctly.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, electronic, interior, exterior, and safety-related components.
- Conduct road tests to verify vehicle performance, noise, vibration, braking, steering, transmission, AC and other relevant functions.
- Check for any abnormal sounds, warning lights, leakage, fitment issues, scratches, dents, or other defects.
- Ensure that all complaints reported by the customer have been properly attended to.
- Cross-check the vehicle condition before and after service to ensure no damage has occurred during workshop operations.
- Identify incomplete or incorrect repair work and coordinate with technicians for necessary rectification.
- Re-inspect vehicles after corrective work to ensure the concern has been completely resolved.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and overall presentation before handing over the vehicle to the customer.
- Verify that required parts, accessories, tools, and components have been properly fitted.
- Ensure compliance with Kia workshop processes, technical standards, and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and update required reports/checklists.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Job Controllers, and Workshop Supervisors for timely resolution of quality concerns.
- Minimize repeat repairs,



customer complaints, and vehicle comebacks through effective final quality checks.
- Escalate major technical or quality concerns to the Workshop Manager / Service Manager.
- Ensure that only vehicles meeting the required quality standards are released for customer delivery.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of automobile mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
- Ability to identify technical defects and abnormal vehicle conditions.
- Good knowledge of vehicle road testing and diagnosis.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented approach.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet vehicle delivery timelines.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Kia vehicles and workshop processes will be an advantage.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with relevant automobile workshop experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in an automobile dealership/workshop.
- Experience as a Final Inspector, Quality Inspector, Senior Technician, or Workshop Technician will be preferred.
- Experience with an OEM/dealership workshop, preferably Kia, will be an added advantage.
