OPT Recruiter – US IT Staffing

Location: Kondapur, Hyderabad

Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results driven OPT Recruiter to join our US IT Staffing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in US IT recruitment, OPT/CPT recruitment, staffing, or bench sales and a good understanding of the US IT employment market.

The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, engaging and placing qualified IT professionals while working closely with internal recruitment, sales and account management teams to fulfill client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Source qualified IT candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, social media and other sourcing channels.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, H1B, GC and USC candidates.

Understand client requirements and identify suitable candidates accordingly.

Conduct initial phone/video screening to evaluate technical skills, communication and overall suitability.

Verify candidate availability, work authorization and other relevant employment details.

Coordinate interviews between candidates, clients and hiring managers.

Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activities in the ATS.

Follow up regularly with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Educate candidates regarding job opportunities, project requirements and recruitment processes.

Coordinate with Business Development and Account Management teams to meet client staffing requirements.





Negotiate compensation and onboarding timelines when required.

Maintain strong candidate relationships and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Meet daily, weekly and monthly recruitment targets.

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly recruitment activity reports.

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in OPT Recruitment, Staffing, Talent Acquisition or Bench Sales.

Strong understanding of the US IT Staffing market and recruitment process.

Good knowledge of CPT, OPT, STEM OPT and H1B processes.

Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed or similar platforms.

Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation, follow-up and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.

Valuable organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Candidates with experience in OPT/CPT recruitment or US IT staffing will be preferred.
