About the Role

We are looking for a Product Owner II to lead product execution for automated scheduling applications across our labeling and corrugated ERP platforms.

Working under the direction of a Product Manager, you will translate product roadmaps and initiatives into actionable development work. You will own the product backlog, break initiatives into epics and user stories, coordinate planning across multiple teams, and collaborate closely with engineering to deliver high-quality scheduling capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, ERP systems, production scheduling, and Agile product development, along with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and manufacturing customers.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

- Own and manage the product backlog for automated scheduling products.
- Partner with Product Managers to translate roadmap initiatives into actionable epics.
- Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and defect fixes based on customer needs, product strategy, and business objectives.
- Create clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Collaborate with technical leads and development teams to plan and prioritize work across multiple sprints.
- Ensure backlog items are well-defined and ready for sprint planning and development.

Customer & Market Insights

- Work closely with Product Managers to understand and execute the product roadmap.
- Partner with customers, Customer Support,



and Services teams to resolve software defects and define customer-specific enhancements.
- Engage directly with customers to understand manufacturing workflows, scheduling challenges, and product opportunities.
- Translate manufacturing and production scheduling requirements into scalable product capabilities.

Agile Development Collaboration

- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX, and Architecture teams throughout planning, development, and release cycles.
- Coordinate with Product Managers, technical leads, and development teams during Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Clarify requirements and ensure development teams understand desired product outcomes.

Product Delivery

- Validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria and business objectives.
- Support product releases through documentation, training, and internal enablement.
- Partner with Product Management and leadership to ensure effective roadmap execution.
- Help drive continuous improvement of automated scheduling capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Implementation, Support, Sales, and other internal teams to ensure product features address customer needs.




- Serve as a product subject-matter expert for internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of product functionality, usability, and customer value.

Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in a software setting.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong experience in product backlog management and writing user stories.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical product specifications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of requirements definition and prioritization.
- Ability to use data and customer insights to support product decisions.

Nice to Have

- Experience with manufacturing, production scheduling, or scheduling-optimization applications is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of production scheduling, shop-floor operations, or manufacturing analytics.
- Experience with ERP integrations and manufacturing workflows.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise software.
- Experience with Jira or similar product/backlog management tools.
