Overview: The objective of this role is to help improve healthcare outcomes in India by sourcing relevant late-stage drug assets from innovator pharmaceutical companies. The AGM B D&L; will coordinate the entire process spanning medical evaluation, business case building, financial assessment, partner negotiation, and legal review across therapy areas.

Technical Competencies:

- Lead Generation:
- Assess global pipeline (Global Data, Evaluate) to shortlist assets that demonstrate differentiation from existing standard of care and have fitment with Torrents long term portfolio strategy
- Establish and maintain relationships with IP owners of these assets to convert both out-bound outreaches and in-bound RFPs into structured IL projects
- Patient Funnels and Forecasting:
- Work closely with Commercial teams to identify the target patient pool for the drug and estimate long term demand through patient funnels/other forecasting models.
- Financial Assessment:
- Coordinate with Corporate Finance to review P&L; and NPV/IRR for assessment of project viability.



Familiarity with financial metrics and deal payment structures (upfront, milestone-based, royalty) is required
- Deal Terms & Legal Review:
- Draft deal terms in alignment with internal stakeholders and industry benchmarks. Project manage the subsequent due diligence and legal review activities with respective teams

Functional Competencies:

- Stakeholder Management
- Liase and work with multiple stakeholders across Financial, Commercial, Medical, Legal and Strategy to meet project timelines
- Negotiation:
- Negotiate deal terms and other strategic/operational aspects with partners for mutually beneficial outcomes
- Network Building:
- Attend conferences, mixers and partnering events to build relationships across organizations, and reinforce Torrent's image as a preferred partner.
- Alliance Management:
- Act as primary contact for alliance operations post deal, and facilitate smooth execution of operational commitments such as JSCs, purchase commitments etc.
