Key Responsibilities:

- System Operation & Monitoring:
- Operate and monitor water systems including RO, EDI, Multi-effect distillation (MED), Pure Steam Generators, and related equipment.
- Perform routine checks and log system parameters (e.g., conductivity, flow, temperature, TOC) to ensure compliance.
- Monitor control systems (SCADA/BMS) and respond to alarms and deviations promptly.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance of water treatment equipment and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system breakdowns or performance issues with minimal downtime.
- Replace filters, cartridges, membranes, and perform sanitization as per SOPs.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records/logbooks of operations, maintenance, calibration, and cleaning.
- Ensure all utility systems are compliant with GMP, FDA, WHO, and ISO guidelines.
- Support validation, calibration, and qualification activities (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Support Audits & Inspections:
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documentation and system information.




- Ensure readiness of utility water systems for inspection at all times.
- Safety & Quality:
- Follow all safety protocols while working with pressurized systems and chemicals.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.

Requirements:

- Education:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Additional certification in water treatment or utility systems is a plus.
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining utility water systems in a regulated industry (pharmaceuticals, biotech, or food).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Good understanding of water system operations and purification technologies (RO, EDI, UV, Ozone, etc.).
- Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and validation protocols.
- Familiarity with SCADA/BMS and automated utility monitoring systems.
- Solid troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
