QA Engineer & Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer & Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver bug-free applications. You will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements.
- Conduct regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity and data accuracy.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Provide clear and detailed bug reports with steps to reproduce.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to quality best practices.

Required Skills

- Experience with manual testing methodologies and SDLC (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, Asana).
- Understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.




- Understanding of version control systems (Git).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
