Job Position: Business Analyst

Job Location: Gurgaon / Mumbai – Work From Office

Department: E-commerce

Experience: 2–5 Years

Location Flexibility: Candidates should be open to working from either Gurgaon or Mumbai, as the client may require the selected candidate to work from the client's location.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst who can work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, analyze data, and translate business needs into actionable insights and solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong skills in requirements gathering, client interaction, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management, along with the ability to understand complex business problems and communicate solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, discussions, and workshops with clients.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional requirements and documentation.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable business insights.




- Write SQL queries to extract, validate, analyze, and interpret data from databases.
- Identify business trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and other business documentation.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and other teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
- Support UAT, data validation, and issue resolution.
- Present analysis, dashboards, findings, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Track requirements, changes, dependencies, and project deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through data-driven insights and automation.

Essential Skills

Business Analysis

- Strong understanding of Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering.
- Experience in interacting directly with clients and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.

Data & Analytics

- Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and dashboard development.
- Good knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful business insights.




- Understanding of data validation, data cleaning, and basic data modeling.
- Knowledge of Power BI DAX is an advantage.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently conduct client discussions and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to explain data and analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have

- Experience in E-commerce, Digital Commerce, Retail, or Payments.
- Knowledge of Power BI DAX and data modeling.
- Exposure to APIs and basic technical concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Understanding of cloud-based data platforms is a plus.

Education

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Business Analysis/Data Analytics certifications will be an advantage.
