Job Summary :

This senior PMO leadership role bridges corporate strategy and capital execution by driving portfolio-wide schedule integration, performance forecasting, and rigorous schedule assurance. Reporting to executive leadership, the position is responsible for translating board-approved strategic initiatives and major construction projects into fully integrated, baselined execution plans. While not responsible for defining corporate strategy, the role acts as the single source of truth for portfolio progress—holding Project Managers, Consultants, Contractors, VPs, and Initiative Owners accountable to realistic schedules, clear dependencies, and strict baseline control.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Establishes and maintains the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), mapping explicit milestones, deliverables, owners, interdependencies, target dates, and approved baselines.
- Partners with VPs, Department Heads, and Initiative Owners to decompose high-level strategy into phased, measurable implementation plans aligned with ClearPoint strategic objectives.
- Serves as the primary schedule challenger for major real estate and capital projects.
- Rigorously audits Primavera P6 schedules submitted by consultants and contractors—evaluating logic ties, sequencing, activity durations, artificial constraints, float consumption, and Critical Path validity before baseline approval.
- Conducts routine Schedule Health Checks to eliminate weak logic, unrealistic durations, and flawed progress metrics.




- Performs independent Baseline vs. Actual vs. Forecast variance analyses to project realistic completion dates before deadlines are breached.
- Maintains a centralized schedule-risk and delay register.
- Evaluates proposed Recovery Plans for execution realism and escalates unresolved or critical delays to C-level management with concrete decision options.
- Identifies and tracks critical cross-project, cross-department, and executive-decision dependencies to prevent systemic ripple effects.
- Acts as the single custodian of approved baselines, enforcing formal change-control protocols and preserving an uncompromised audit trail across Baseline, Current Target, Forecast, and Actual dates.
- Maintains and integrates the organization’s scheduling ecosystem, aligning Primavera P6 (Construction), Jira (Strategic Initiatives), Microsoft Project, and ClearPoint.
- Delivers high-impact weekly and monthly portfolio reports classifying initiatives as On Track, At Risk, Delayed, or Critical.
- Focuses executive reporting on key variances, root-cause analyses, ownership, and actionable decision points rather than raw schedule data.

Qualifications & Certifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field. PMP and PMI-SP (or equivalent Primavera/project controls certification) preferred; practical scheduling experience is weighted more heavily than certifications alone.

Work Experience :

- Minimum 8 years in planning, scheduling, or project controls (8–12 years preferred), with strong experience in construction, real estate development, or capital projects, and a track record managing multiple projects simultaneously and reviewing/challenging contractor schedules. Prior experience with a developer, PMC, consultancy, or major contractor preferred; GCC experience highly preferred. PMO, portfolio planning, or transformation-program experience is an advantage.

Language Skills :

Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.
