Job Summary
Medall Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is looking for Phlebotomists to join our team across multiple collection centres and parking points in Bangalore.
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for blood and biological sample collection from walk-in patients while ensuring proper sample identification, labeling, handling, hygiene, and timely coordination with the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venous and capillary blood sample collection.
- Verify patient details and test requisitions before sample collection.
- Ensure accurate sample labeling and proper handling.
- Follow infection control, hygiene, and biomedical waste disposal procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the collection area.
- Update sample collection details accurately in the LIS.
- Properly store and hand over samples to the logistics team / laboratory.
- Monitor collection materials and report stock requirements.
- Provide courteous and patient-friendly service.
- Follow Medall quality standards and applicable NABL/ISO requirements.
Qualification & Experience
- DMLT / MLT / B.Sc. (MLT or Life Sciences)
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Freshers with DMLT are welcome to apply
- Phlebotomy / Laboratory Technician certification is preferred.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of venipuncture and blood collection techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to update information in LIS.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Patient-centric approach and professional behaviour.
