Job Summary:**The General Shift Executive at HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operational activities within a designated shift to ensure efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and a safe working environment. This role requires solid leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.Job Responsibilities:*** Manage and supervise a team of production operators and support staff during a given shift.* Ensure all production targets, quality specifications, and safety protocols are met or exceeded.* Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.* Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and initiate maintenance requests as needed.* Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and shift reports.* Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.* Troubleshoot operational issues and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.* Collaborate with other shift executives, department heads,



and support functions to optimize overall plant performance.* Enforce company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing waste.Job Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Chemical) or a related technical field.* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the FMCG sector.* Proven experience in supervising and leading a team in a shift-based operation.* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.* Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.* Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.* Willingness to work in rotating shifts (day, evening, night) as per operational requirements.* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. #LI-Onsite Job Category: Supply Chain Job Type: Full time Industry:
