**Job Description Summary** -The vision of the SVO- New Products team is to create robust but cost-effective wind turbine product designs by providing best-in-class system value optimization, load assessment, validation, methods, and tools. -As a SVO engineer, you will perform system value optimization work, deliver loads and cosims, prepare certification documentation, support method/standard work development, and develop the loads toolchain. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities** + Perform system value optimization + Helpperform system value optimization work, making tradeoffs in the loads, stability, operation, and performance of the product + Helpperform feasibility studies and develop tech charts + Deliver NPI/DTO loads + Prepare loads inputs, create the simulation model, execute loads simulations, and perform post processing + Perform basic operability checks and frequency domain stability checks + Hand off model and controller parameters to MLA + Update load envelopes + Prepare load certification docs + Prepare certification load packages and documentation + Helpaddress questions from certification bodies + Deliver cosims + Prepare co-simulation for validation activities for prototype and fleet leader validation + Helpresolve gaps seen between simulations and field measurement.
