JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Plant & Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of both plant operations and project execution. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing operations, project management, production planning, engineering coordination, team management, and customer handling, preferably in a machine manufacturing or industrial automation environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Convert confirmed sales orders into detailed execution plans — timelines, resources, milestones.
- Review customer-specific technical requirements with design/engineering and finalise specifications.
- Plan and track project schedules from order to dispatch to commissioning.
- Monitor project progress; identify and resolve delays or bottlenecks.
- Manage project costing and prevent budget overruns.
- Serve as primary customer contact for project status, changes, and escalations.
- Maintain project documentation — BOM, drawings, test/QC records, commissioning reports.




- Hand over completed projects to the service/after-sales team with full documentation.
- Own overall plant output, delivery schedules, and capacity planning.
- Ensure ISO 9001:2015 and other quality standards are maintained across manufacturing.
- Ensure statutory and safety compliance (factory license, labor law, safety norms, pollution control).
- Drive continuous improvement on the shop floor (5S, lean, process standardization).

Requirements and skills:

- B.E. ,BTech, ME, MTech in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Proven work experience as a Plant Manager in a company engaged in Mechanical Engineering activities or Machine Manufacturing activities.
- Proven managerial experience with a team of at least 30 to 40 people.
