- The DCO (Direct Customer Officer) position is at the front end of the business.
- Does not have any HUL employees as direct subordinates.
- Assists BSM Sales Executive in handling the account portfolio.
- Responsible for managing CSD/CPS business across various locations and URCs.
- Requires strong customer relations skills and maintaining positive working relationships with counterparts.
- Requires high discipline with timelines, solid business understanding, basic negotiation skills, and people management skills.
- Field role with heavy travel requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build capability of Sales Promoters and Shop Boys; understand roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth operations to grow the business backed by a strong supply chain.
- Maintain stock levels, ensure good supply fills to customers, and resolve operational concerns.
- Forecast business and plan stock supplies.
- Understand 6P principles and relate them to Share of Shelf, account assortment, MBQ, planogram, and promotion strategy; use DST effectively.
- Implement renovation as per schedule,
execute all agreed TOT, and ensure ROI.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Manage activity at customer level for off-take generation.
- Communicate with higher-level officers of Army, Navy, Air Force, and Central Police.
- Bridge communication gap between Store and BSM and identify new opportunities in the area.
- Solve operational problems critical to customer delight, share of shelf, and share of wallet.
- Identify hotspots proactively, negotiate with outlets for HUL visibility, and drive accountability with merchandizers.
- Prepare PJP for the team as per demand generation, make effective sales calls, and ensure DO generation using DO/DST.
QUALIFICATION:
- MBA/PGDM degree in Sales/Marketing with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and outgoing skills.
- Target-oriented with determined selling skills.
