Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and responsible Punjabi Teacher to join our school. The candidate should have robust knowledge of the Punjabi language, and the ability to create an engaging and positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Punjabi lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Teach Punjabi language, grammar, reading, writing, and literature as per the students' grade level.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assignments, and assessments.
- Encourage students to develop strong Punjabi reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline and create a respectful learning environment.
- Participate in school functions, cultural activities, assemblies, and Punjabi-language events.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and school management regarding students' academic progress.
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and academic procedures.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Punjabi or a related subject.
- B.Ed.



/ equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Punjabi language proficiency is essential.
- Good knowledge of Punjabi grammar and literature.
- Previous teaching experience in a school will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good teaching skills may also apply.

Skills Required

- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong command of Punjabi and preferably Hindi/English.
- Positive lesson-planning and presentation skills.
- Patient, approachable, and child-friendly attitude.
- Ability to use creative teaching techniques and educational activities.
- Responsible, punctual, and professional in conduct.
