Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Head – Finance, Accounts & HR who can independently manage and oversee the company's Finance, Accounts, Banking, Statutory Compliance and Human Resources functions.

The person will be responsible for financial control, MIS and reporting, banking operations, taxation and statutory compliance, working capital management, audit coordination, HR operations, manpower planning, employee management and implementation of HR policies and processes.

The candidate should have strong leadership skills and the ability to work closely with senior management for financial and people-related decision-making.

Key Responsibilities1. Finance & Accounts Management

- Overall responsibility for Finance and Accounts functions of the organization.
- Supervise and control day-to-day accounting operations.
- Review and monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Monitor aged creditors and debtors and ensure timely settlements and collections.
- Review vendor ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial transactions.
- Review monthly accounts and ensure timely finalization of books.
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement.
- Prepare project-wise costing, expense tracking, budgets and profitability reports.
- Review BOM vs. actual consumption in Tally.
- Coordinate with Stores for stock verification and stock audits.

2. Banking & Financial Operations

- Manage banking operations and coordinate with banks for financial requirements.
- Handle documentation related to Bill of Entry and Import/Export Remittances.
- Manage Bank Guarantees including issuance, cancellation and extension.
- Handle documentation related to Letters of Credit (LC) for inland and export transactions.
- Review and manage credit limits and credit limit enhancement requirements.
- Prepare and maintain monthly stock statements for banking and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with banks for all required financial documentation.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory and taxation requirements.
- Review and ensure monthly TDS return filing.
- Review and ensure GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing.
- Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with Books of Accounts for GST compliance.
- Ensure timely MSME return filing as applicable.
- Monitor statutory compliance related to Finance and Accounts.
- Coordinate with consultants and statutory authorities wherever required.
- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory records and documentation.

4. MIS & Management Reporting





- Prepare and present MIS reports to senior management.
- Provide accurate financial analysis and insights for management decision-making.
- Prepare financial reports as required by management.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, collections, outstanding payments and profitability.
- Prepare and review CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) value reports.
- Identify financial risks, variances and areas requiring corrective action.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

5. Audit & Internal Control

- Coordinate with statutory auditors and provide required information and documentation.
- Ensure accounting processes and documentation comply with applicable regulations.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Identify process gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate internal audits, stock audits and other financial reviews.
- Ensure proper documentation and records for audit purposes.

6. HR Management

- Take overall responsibility for HR operations and employee management.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes and systems.
- Manage manpower planning and workforce requirements in coordination with management and department heads.
- Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding of employees.
- Review senior-level and critical hiring requirements.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, payroll and HRMS processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in coordination with Accounts.
- Oversee employee documentation including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation, transfers, promotions, relieving and experience letters.
- Manage employee performance management, KRA/KPI and appraisal processes.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Monitor employee engagement, retention and welfare initiatives.
- Ensure proper HR records and statutory documentation are maintained.

7. Labour Law & HR Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory HR requirements.
- Coordinate with labour law consultants and statutory authorities.
- Monitor compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review labour compliance records and returns.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections.
- Keep management updated regarding significant statutory changes affecting the organization.

8. Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and manage the Finance, Accounts and HR teams.




- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Review work of team members and ensure timely completion of critical activities.
- Develop team capabilities through training and guidance.
- Establish accountability and effective reporting systems.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Production, Stores, Administration and other departments.
- Act as a key point of coordination between management and functional teams.

9. Management Coordination

- Work closely with senior management on financial, operational and HR-related matters.
- Provide management with timely and accurate reports for decision-making.
- Support management in cost control, manpower planning and organizational development.
- Identify operational and financial risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Finance, Accounts, HR and other departments.
- Handle any other responsibilities assigned by senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounts.
- Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and related compliances.
- Strong banking and working capital management knowledge.
- Experience in MIS, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of HR operations and labour laws.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently handle multiple functions.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and ERP/HRMS systems.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with management, auditors, consultants, banks and internal departments.

Candidate Profile

- 10+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts and HR/Administration.
- Candidates from manufacturing or engineering industries will be preferred.
- Should have experience handling a team and managing functions independently.
- Should be capable of taking ownership of Finance, Accounts, Compliance and HR operations.
- Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience are essential.
- Candidate should be mature, responsible and comfortable working directly with senior management.
