Roles and Responsibilities: • Fixed Asset Operations • Process asset acquisitions, capitalization, transfers, retirements, disposals, and write-offs. • Maintain fixed asset master data and ensure accuracy of asset records. • Review and validate supporting documentation for asset additions and changes. • Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) and ensure proper accounting treatment. • Depreciation & Month-End Close • Execute monthly depreciation runs. • Prepare and post fixed asset journals and accruals. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities. • Ensure all asset transactions are recorded within agreed timelines. • Reconciliations & Reporting • Perform monthly fixed asset reconciliations between the Fixed Asset Register and General Ledger. • Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences. • Prepare roll-forward schedules and management reports. • Support audit requests and provide necessary documentation.
