We are looking for an experienced Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in mainframe and database architecture, expertise in DB2 database concepts, and hands-on experience with mainframe database utilities and tools. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, collaborating with vendors and application teams, and maintaining optimal database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expertise in Mainframe and DB2 database architecture to ensure robust database solutions.
2. Utilize in-depth knowledge of Mainframe database concepts to support and maintain database systems.
3. Troubleshoot application issues by collaborating with vendors and application teams.
4. Perform database maintenance using Mainframe DB2 offline and online utilities.

Manage and optimize database performance using ISV tools like BMC and CA products.
6. Ensure database availability, scalability, and security to support business operations.
7. Stay updated with emerging database technologies and best practices to enhance system capabilities.
