Summary

The SAP CPM Specialist is responsible for configuring, customizing, and implementing SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM) solutions to support efficient project planning, cost management, and revenue recognition. This role involves managing customer contracts, optimizing project structures, and ensuring seamless integration with SAP Project Systems (PS) and other relevant SAP modules. The specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, drive process improvements, and align SAP CPM solutions with business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

SAP CPM Configuration & Implementation

- Configure, customize, and deploy SAP CPM solutions based on business requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP PS and other SAP/non-SAP systems.

Project Planning & Cost Management

- Develop strategies for effective project execution and cost control.




- Define revenue recognition methods and optimize billing processes.

Contract & Resource Management

- Manage customer contracts within SAP CPM, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Efficiently allocate and manage project resources for optimal performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work with business stakeholders to align SAP CPM solutions with organizational goals.
- Provide creative solutions to complex project management challenges.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

- Stay updated with SAP CPM advancements and industry best practices.
