As an SAP CPI Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integration solutions between SAP systems and client or third-party applications. You will work with a wide range of integration patterns, protocols, data formats, and adapters while ensuring interfaces are secure, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.

The role involves hands-on development using SAP CPI / Integration Suite, including message mapping, Groovy scripting, routing, exception handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will also support integration testing, production readiness, go-live activities, and ongoing issue resolution.

You will collaborate closely with functional teams, developers, business stakeholders, and support teams to ensure seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite integration flows.
- Build SAP-to-client and SAP-to-third-party application integrations based on technical and functional requirements.
- Work with adapters including SFTP, SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, HTTP, RFC, and File-based adapters.
- Develop message mappings, transformations, routing logic, and integration workflows.
- Create and maintain Groovy scripts for custom transformation and integration requirements.
- Work extensively with IDoc, RFC, and Proxy-based integrations.
- Handle data formats including XML, JSON, and IDoc.
- Implement appropriate exception-handling mechanisms and ensure robust error management.
- Monitor interfaces, investigate failures, and troubleshoot integration issues.




- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and resolve production or support issues.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Perform interface testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
- Maintain technical documentation for integration flows, configurations, support activities, and project deliverables.
- Follow established development standards, coding practices, security guidelines, and integration best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve integration performance, reliability, monitoring, and maintainability.

What Makes You a Excellent Fit
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite development and implementation.
- Strong practical knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration and Integration Suite on Cloud Foundry.
- Proven experience working with SFTP, SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, HTTP, RFC, and File adapters.
- Strong expertise in message mapping, transformation, routing, and exception handling.
- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting within SAP CPI.
- Strong understanding of IDoc, RFC, and Proxy integrations.
- Experience working with XML, JSON, and IDoc data structures.
- Familiarity with API and interface testing using Postman and SoapUI.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex integration failures.
- Good understanding of integration monitoring and production support processes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with functional, technical, and business teams.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and follow established coding and development standards.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple integration requirements effectively.
