A Quality Assurance (QA) professional is responsible for ensuring that products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and quality checklists.
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects or quality issues.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing as required.
- Work closely with developers, production teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Verify fixes and ensure defects are properly closed.
- Maintain accurate testing and quality documentation.
- Monitor processes and recommend improvements to prevent recurring issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback.
- Ensure products and processes comply with company standards and applicable regulations.
- Prepare QA reports and communicate testing results to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance procedures.

Required Qualifications




- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, depending on the industry.
- Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, testing, inspection, or quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with QA tools, documentation, and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated testing tools and defect-tracking systems.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or other development methodologies for software QA roles.
- Understanding of quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with SQL, API testing, or performance testing for technical QA positions.
- Relevant QA or industry certifications.
