Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on patients, including collecting medical histories, dietary habits, and relevant laboratory data.

2. Evaluate patients' nutritional status, dietary preferences, and special dietary requirements.

3. Develop customized dietary plans for patients based on their medical conditions, age, and individual dietary needs.

4. Ensure that diet plans align with physicians' orders and patients' treatment goals.

5. Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition and how dietary choices can impact their health.

6. Provide guidance on specific dietary changes required for medical conditions, allergies, or food intolerances.

7. Monitor patients' progress and adjust dietary plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.

8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Collaborate with the food services team to ensure that patient diets are prepared and served accurately.

10. Monitor food quality and patient satisfaction with hospital meals.

11. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
