Suri Medical Agencies is a pharmaceutical distribution company operating across Himachal Pradesh, with our head office based in Solan. We are looking for an experienced General Manager / Business Operations Head to lead and scale our day-to-day business operations across our distribution network.

Role Overview:

The General Manager / Business Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions of the business including sales operations, logistics, inventory, billing, compliance, and team management. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the owner/founder, ideal for a candidate who wants to build and run a growing pharma distribution business with autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end business operations across Solan and Himachal Pradesh territories

- Manage and mentor field staff, territory executives, billing executives, and store managers

- Drive sales targets, distribution efficiency, and account growth across 50+ distribution partners

- Own inventory management, supply chain coordination, and vendor relationships

- Ensure GST compliance, timely billing, and financial reconciliation processes are followed

- Implement and oversee ERP systems for operational efficiency

- Resolve escalations,



pending payments, and operational bottlenecks

- Build and execute business scaling strategies and SOPs for replication across recent territories

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operations team

- Report business performance, risks, and growth opportunities to leadership

Preferred Background and Qualities:

- 8-15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution, FMCG distribution, or related operations/business management roles

- Proven track record of managing multi-location teams and operations

- Strong understanding of GST, billing, and financial compliance in a distribution business

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to take ownership

- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution sector strongly preferred

- Willingness to travel across Himachal Pradesh operational locations (Solan, Shimla, Chandigarh) as needed

Location Preference: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Solan, Himachal Pradesh are preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
